What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient scientific form of body work used primarily

on the feet.  With a gentle pressure applied to the feet, nerve endings

which correspond to different areas within the body, are stimulated and

therefore assist the body with its own natural healing powers.

What is Reflexology good for?

Reflexology is good for:

~ Reducing Stress

~ Improving Immunity

~Improving Digestion

~Improving Hormonal Imbalances

~Improving Overall Health and Well Being

What can be expected with a Reflexology Session?

A reflexology session is usually about 50-120 minutes.  It consists of a

foot bath followed by the session itself.  The shoes and socks are removed

and the client is in a relaxed position (usually reclined), while the

practitioner applies a gentle pressure to the foot in a specific manner.

Reflexology brings the client into a deep state of relaxation and/or sleep.

There may be certain areas on the feet that are more sensitive.

When the session is complete, the client’s entire body is relaxed

and rejuvenated.  Reflexology is complimentary and does

not replace medical care.
